Amports Port Update: As an addition to our South Locus Point Terminal option, please be advised that AMPORTS will be an option for deliveries for our “Courage” voyage 18GO01” starting TOMORROW Wednesday May 23rd.
No Forklift and or H&H cargo accepted at AMPORTS, all Forklift and H&H will be accepted at South Locus Point as normal.

As you are well aware, Non Running and Forklift is heavily damaged cargo and Sallaum Lines will no longer accept any Claims on any Non Running (Tow) or Forklift Cargo for Damage, Missing Parts and or Keys.
Sallaum Lines will only accept Claims on Running Cargo.
The Terminals have been instructed to utilize this stamp on all Heavy Damaged Non-Running and Forklift cargo. Please advise your customers of such Policy. All future Claims on Non-Running and or Forklift cargo with this stamp on the Doc Receipt at time of delivery will be strictly denied.

As of June 1st, 2018, we will NOT be accepting any tracked vehicles due to the warm weather. These units causes the pavement on our property to be torn up and damaged in the process of moving them during these times. We will be accepting tracked units again the next working day AFTER Labor day (September 3rd 2018)
Due to water damage claims for mold, damage to the inside of the car due to rain water etc…. We have updated our receiving policy as follows:
Please be advised effective immediately, we can no longer accept units with damaged glass. Please see the below outlining the changes:
Make sure that broken windows and or Sun/Moon Roofs are covered prior to delivery. Any broken windows, windshields and or sun/moon roofs, the vehicle will be rejected and not received.
Please make sure you do the following prior to delivering your cargo;
We expect all deliveries to be compliant starting immediately.
Effective immediately, Grimaldi will begin accepting forklift units. All forklift units must be pre-approved and pre-announced.
We are working hard on cleaning up our Forklift inventory in Jacksonville and get them loaded and on their way to their POD.
With that said, we are still unable to accept any Forklift cargo at our Jacksonville Terminal. We will continue to keep you updated, and hope to get back to normal Forklift acceptance in Jacksonville very soon, please stay tuned.
We are unable to keep open the Terminal in Baltimore today, May 3rd. We are in the middle of loading Morning Crystal and shifting cargo, we must Close to make sure everything is back to normal on Friday May 4th. Sorry for the late notice. Please hold your cargo to Friday and/or deliver to Philadelphia for one day. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and plan on all deliveries for Friday at the Baltimore Terminal.
Please be advised the our Newark Red Hook Terminal will continue to be CLOSED today for more operational construction to create more future space for Sallaum cargo, and re-open normal business hours on Friday May 4th. The Terminal is going through a major realigning and has a few outside surveyors that has forced us to continue the Terminal closure until Friday, and potentially including Friday. Please stay tuned for an updates. Please attempt to hold on to your deliveries until Newark opens back up shortly, and or, deliver your cargo to Baltimore, Philadelphia (Accepting Non-Runners as of Monday May 7th) or Boston.
We apologize for this last minute notice, but this work is required and necessary for us to improve our space capacity at the Newark Red Hook Terminal to ensure we provide you improved service moving forward. In addition, we have added additional tonnage to support Newark and Baltimore with much improved frequency, more to come on our Voyage Schedule Update. Stay tuned.
We appreciate your patience and are happy to announce that our Newark Red Hook Terminal will be OPEN normal business hours tomorrow, Friday May 4th. We have completed some of the work needed to improve space capacity and will continue to work hard to make sure this type of closure does not happen again. In addition, please stay tuned for our updated tonnage vessel schedule showing improved Baltimore and Newark frequency. Again, we appreciate your patience and loyalty.
