Our Newark Terminal continues to be tight and at near capacity. Based on the delivery daily average, we are forced to close the Terminal starting tomorrow, Wednesday June 27th to July 3rd.
As mentioned in prior communications, our schedule was improved and we are calling Baltimore and Newark 4 times in the month of July, but until then, we continue to deal with capacity issues.
Please push cargo to our Philadelphia Auto Terminal.
In addition to the Philadelphia Terminal, Boston is another option. Please hang in there with us and we promise to get back on track and load all cleared cargo in the month of July, please see our updated RORO Schedule - www.gforwarding.com .
As an update to our message sent last week, please be advise that our South Locus Point Terminal will open tomorrow at 1 PM instead of the originally planned 8 AM opening.
Please be advised that the Newark Red Hook Terminal will be at capacity at the end of day Friday June 15th. The Terminal will be CLOSED on Monday June 18th and Tuesday June 19th. The Newark Terminal will OPEN back up for normal deliveries on Wednesday June 20th at 8 AM.
If you can’t hold your cargo from being delivered, please use our Philadelphia Auto Terminal.
We apologize for the inconvenience, all Terminal capacity issues will be solved with our updated July tonnage lineup, there will be a vessel calling Baltimore and Newark every 10 days or less. But until July, we will continue to face limited space issues in Baltimore and Newark and your patience is greatly appreciated in the meantime.
Again, please push the cargo that you can’t hold until Wednesday June 20th to Boston and or Philadelphia.
The AMPORTS alternative option will not be available for deliveries for Friday June 15th and or Monday June 18th. AMPORTS has filed up quickly and will not be able to accept cargo as of tomorrow.
Please hold your Baltimore deliveries and deliver all cargo to South Locus Point on Tuesday 8 AM.
If you need, our Philadelphia Terminal is Open with plenty of space.
We apologize for any inconvenience and please hold your Baltimore deliveries until Tuesday or push to Philadelphia.
Although we have added a new Tonnage lineup starting in July, that doesn’t elevate the congestion and space limitation at our South Locus Terminal today. We have AMPORTS open and accepting Running and Non Running cargo, (No Forklift and or H&H). All H&H will still be accepted at South Locus Point as normal.
We plan on opening South Locus Point at 8 AM on Tuesday June 19th. Please advise your drivers to deliver to AMPORTS starting tomorrow.
As you are all well aware, Baltimore and Newark Terminals are near capacity.
-Baltimore South Locus in near capacity so please be advise that AMPORTS continue to be an option for all running and tow units. (No Forklift and or H&H at AMPORTS at this time)
We have added tonnage to support your deliveries to all Terminals especially Baltimore, Newark and Boston. Please note that Sallaum Lines Sebring Express has been added to our July lineup and it’s calling Boston first, then Newark and Baltimore making the frequency between the Captain, Express and Aurora nearly a weekly call to Baltimore and Newark.
We look forward to maintain such calls to Baltimore and Newark to support all your RoRo shipping needs and eliminate future Terminal constraints, limits and closures the rest of 2018.
Baltimore South Locus Point Terminal is near capacity. We are forced to Temporarily Suspend Forklift deliveries effective Tomorrow Tuesday June 12th and normal Forklift Deliveries may resume on Thursday June 21st.
Also, please keep in mind that all Running and Tow units maybe delivered to AMPORTS so that you can avoid the long wait time for South Locus. AMPORT is accepting Running and Tow cargo, but no Forklift and or H and H at this time.
Please put plans in place and communicate to your drivers.
Greetings and thank you for your business. Due to the increased port operational costs for handling Forklift shipments, Sallaum Lines are announcing that effective July 8th, all Forklift deliveries will have a $100 Forklift Rate increase. Please note any vehicle delivered on or after 7/8/2018 will be charged $500 Forklift fees.
Over the past 6 months we faced Forklift operational cost increases that include, but are not limited to POL Terminal Receiving, POL Loading and POD Discharging.
Therefore, please take note that effective July 8th, any delivery of a Forklift POV will be charged the increased rate. Please avoid purchasing damaged units that will incur these fees. We strongly recommend avoiding cars with any broken glass and/or car parts that are rubbing tires to avoid these fees.
Please be advised that our Baltimore AMPORT Terminal is OPEN for your running and non running cargo deliveries. (No Forklift and or H and H at this time). Our South Locus Point Terminal is filling up and some drivers may experience longer than expected waiting times. Please advise your drivers of the AMPORT Option and have them deliver to AMPORTS.
Please be informed that due to limited space, receiving for forklift units is suspended until advised.
